The Game Expo has announced a new Community Sponsorship Program, with more than $20,000 in sponsorship support available for gaming communities across Australia.

This initiative is designed to support grassroots organisations and creators helping grow Australia’s gaming scene ahead of TGX 2027.

Successful applicants may receive a sponsorship package that can include funding, event prizes, TGX tickets, promotional support, exhibitor booth opportunities, and other assistance depending on the needs of each community.

Applications are open to a broad range of groups, including:

  • Gaming communities
  • Tournament organisers
  • Content creators
  • University clubs
  • Esports communities
  • Pop culture groups

TGX says the program aims to recognise and support the communities that continue to help shape Australia’s gaming culture.

Applications for the TGX Community Sponsorship Program are available now.
