A new game from the Sydney-based studio Caustic Reality, who previously released Influction and then its expanded Infliction: Extended Cut, has announced their next game, The INDIGO Initiative.
A short teaser trailer was released for The INDIGO Initiative, and it shows that unlike the horror game that was Infiction, this is a sci-fi puzzle game.
Check out the announcement trailer below.
A first-person puzzle adventure where you harness fire, water, electricity, and magnetism to solve multi-step puzzles and explore atmospheric realms to restore balance before reality collapses.
In a press release, Clinton McCleary, the man behind the one-man game studio Caustic Reality, said:
“I’ve been quietly building this project for a long time, and I’m incredibly proud (and a little nervous!) to finally share it with you. It’s a first-person, narrative-driven puzzle adventure set across collapsing realities. You’ll wield experimental technology to absorb and unleash elemental forces as you uncover the mystery in hopes of saving humanity.”
It looks like the game is combining some Portal-like vibes with the thirs-person gravity gun elements, but with something of a darker more sinister tone to everything. What did you think of the trailer? Let me know in the comments section below.
You can wishlist the game on Steam now.
