The team at Fangamer and Mortis Ghost has revealed the release date for their remaster of OFF, which will be available digitally on August 15 for PC and Nintendo Switch.
I’ve covered this game a few times over the last couple of months, as it’s an intriguing story. The game that inspired Toby Fox to make Undertale has a lot of intrigue. And since it hasn’t been readily available, this new version will be the way to check it out.
Over the past weekend, the game showed up at the MIX Online Summer Showcase, where Ryan Alyea from Fangamer explained some of the features of the critical hit system. Check that all out in the video below.
If you can’t wait to play OFF, there’s some good news: a ‘prologue’ demo is now live on Steam. It takes about an hour to finish, but the good news is that the progression from this demo will carry over to the full game in August.
If you’d like to pick up a physical edition of the game, the team have also said that one is coming to Nintendo Switch in “Q4 2024.”
