Publisher Freedom Games and developer Little Rock Games have released To The Rescue! on Nintendo Switch, joining its previous release on PC.

When we reviewed To The Rescue on PC, here is what we said:

“The messaging in the game surrounding adoption and consequences of choices meant much to me. I really enjoyed the interactions with the dogs, seeing the small animations surrounding their feelings were some of the best moments I can think of while playing the game. It, unfortunately, couldn’t outweigh the frustrations from the bugs, glitches, and subpar quality of the game in other areas.”

With the main concern from our review being the glitches and the overall polish, maybe this recent release on Nintendo Switch will have ironed those things out. It may be worth checking out since 20% of the game’s profits are going to real-world animal shelters, so at least you are supporting a good cause if you choose to do so.
