The first trailer for V/H/S/94 has dropped online ahead of the film’s release next month, and it looks to be bringing the franchise back to the intense scares and gore that made the first two entries cult favourites.

“In V/H/S/94, after the discovery of a mysterious VHS tape, a brutish police swat team launches a high intensity raid on a remote warehouse, only to discover a sinister cult compound whose collection of pre-recorded material uncovers a nightmarish conspiracy.”
V/H/S/94 will feature five new stories from directors Simon Barrett (Seance, V/H/S/2) and Timo Tjahjanto (May the Devil Take You Too, V/H/S/2), Jennifer Reeder (Knives & Skin), Ryan Prows (Lowlife) and Chloe Okuno (Slut).
V/H/S/94 is a Shudder Original — a huge film for the horror streaming service — and will premiere of Shudder on October 6th.
