HBO has revealed the premiere date for Westworld Season 3 this morning along with a new trailer that gives viewers an understanding of the grim world outside the parks that’s not too different to our own.

Westworld will return for its third season on March 16th — I’d presume it’ll air at a similar if not the same timeslot as previous seasons and Game of Thrones have taken up at 11 AM on Showtime.

The latest trailer doesn’t offer any new footage featuring returning cast members like Evan Rachel Woods, Tessa Thompson or Thandie Newton, or even new members like Aaron Paul. Instead, the trailer is a timeline of events that paints a picture of how bad the real world is in Westworld.

It starts with the even in Hong Kong last year, the Impeachment of 45th President of the United States and then builds up to the year 2037 with a second Russian Civil War.
