WrestleQuest developer commentary showcases love for pro wrestling and RPG’s

WrestleQuest was announced back in March by publisher Skybound Games, and if you’ve been eager for more information on the wrestling RPG since then, you’re in luck.

If you’re a big wrestling fan, you’ll get a good kick out of the number of cameos in just the short, sixteen-minute developer commentary video. From Randy Savage to podcaster Conrad Thompson, there’s a little bit of everything from the wrestling fandom. There seems to be true love for old-school and new wrestling here, focusing on telling a story that’ll hit with pro wrestling fans.

In each battle, you’ll need to battle your opponent(s) like in most RPGs, but you also need to keep your eye on the crowds ‘hype metre.’ If that gets too low, your opponent will grow stronger, which you don’t want.

WrestleQuest doesn’t have a release date yet, but it is listed as “coming soon” on Steam. Are you excited to check this wrestling RPG out? I know I sure am.
