This morning, Xbox showcased fifteen games that were coming soon and into next year in the October Xbox Partner Showcase.
Highlights from this Xbox Partner Showcase include a look at two Remedy projects, the upcoming final expansion for Alan Wake 2 and the reveal of FBC: Firebreak, a brand-new co-op experience set in the world of Control. There’s also a surprise release date change for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, a world premiere for Subnautica 2, a shadow drop for Animal Well and more.

Alan Wake 2 – The Lake House
The second and final expansion for Alan Wake 2 puts us in the shoes of Agent Estevez from the FBC as they explore the Lake House and discover whatever sinister story is unfolding within, which could more closely bridge Control and Alan Wake 2.
Alan Wake 2 – The Lake is releasing on October 22.
Cronos: The New Dawn
This is a new game from Bloober Team, which just released its remake of Silent Hill 2. The debut trailer, which shows a person in a spacesuit fighting creatures while also playing chess with an older lady, has a lot to work through.
Cronos: The New Dawn will be released in 2025.
Blindfire
This is a competitive FPS in which all light has been removed. It’s an interesting idea, and some gameplay will debut.
Blindfire is available in Xbox Game Preview today on Xbox and PC.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
This trailer for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii contains two surprises: naval battles and a new release date.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will be released on February 21, 2025.
Mouse: P.I. For Hire
A new trailer for Mouse: P.I. For Hire showcases the arena-like FPS-shooter with the investigting you’ll be doing in-between.
Mouse: P.I. For Hire will be released in 2025.
Subnautica 2
This trailer for Subnautica 2 teases out the terrors that could lay deep within the waters below. It shows that there could be lots to discover in the deep sea.
Subnautica 2 will launch into Xbox Game Preview in 2025.
Animal Well
Without shadows, there is no light, and shadows inside shadows could be secretive shadows within the shadows.
Animal Well is out today on Xbox.
Edens Zero
Based on the Hiro Mashima manga and anime, this is a third-person action game set in the same universe.
Edens Zero will be released in 2025.
Eternal Strands
This new trailer for Eternal Stands showcases how you’ll be able to combine spells in combat to take down enemies in unique ways.
Eternal Stands will be released in 2025 and will also be released on day one on Game Pass.
Mistfall Hunter
A debut trailer for Mistfall Hunter showcases a new Soulslike in a dark fantasy setting.
Wheel Wolrd
Ghost Bike has been re-titled now as Wheel World, and it looks like a very serene exploration and racging bike game.
Wheel World is set to release in 2025 and will be on Game Pass day one.
Phasmophobia
Phasmophobia is finally making its debut on Xbox, where you can team up with friends to track down ghosts.
Phasmophobia is releasing on Xbox on October 29.
The Legend of Baboo
There’s a big fluffy dog in The Legend of Baboo, which you can ride, but this looks like a dark action-adventure, with a brutual backstory.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
This trailer for Wuchang: Fallen Feathers features a dark fantasy setting with terrifying creatures. However, it’s also very action-packed, showcasing fast-paced combat.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers will launch in 2025.
FBC: Firebreak
Remedy featured two games in this showcase, with the second one being the reveal of FBC: Firebreak, a co-op game set in the world of Control where you’ll play as one of the FBC agents. You’ll be able to use an assortment of weapons and team up with two friends to take down the weird creatures and horrors within the Old House.
FBC: Firebreak is releasing in 2025 and will be on Game Pass on day one.
