Yellowjackets has been one of my favourite new shows of 2022, and the casting news for the second season has been rolling in over the last week, with it all looking really exciting.

Elijah Wood has been cast as a “dedicated citizen detective” named Walter. It’s a season-long guest recurring role, and we will see him going head-to-head with Christina Ricci’s Misty. If you’ve watched the first season, you can probably guess what he’s investigating. 

Simone Kessell has been cast as the adult Lottie, a character we assumed we’d see more of going ahead after the shocking season finale teased her puppet-like fingers working from behind the scenes.
