Zero Latency is celebrating its three-million global player base by launching its first-ever worldwide VR competition, ‘Champions of the Undead.’ The best news is that you can win USD 15k for winning the whole thing.

So how do you win such a prize? By shooting zombies!

Players who want to partake can head to their local Zero Latency venue worldwide and boot up one of the most popular games, Undead Arena, where players must simultaneously rack up kills and high scores.

As the first time that Zero Latency has held a global competition like this, there’s a lot of excitement from those at the company.

Tim Ruse, CEO at Zero Latency, said:

“We’re thrilled that we’ve now seen three million plays across the globe since we started this journey ten years ago, with people continually looking for experiences that allow them to connect with others. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with this competition, on a scale that we’ve never done before. We’re continuing to innovate and grow, and are looking forward to the next 3 million plays from our dedicated, passionate players worldwide.”

The competition will run from August 10th until September 6th, with a grand final on October 5th in Las Vegas.

One player from every region will be flown to Las Vegas to participate in the finale, with the winner receiving USD 15k. Runners-up will also score a prize with a VIVE XR Elite going home with them worth USD 1,099.

In Australia, Zero Latency has arenas in Adelaide, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Melbourne, and Sydney.
