Balor Games has announced a new partnership with IllFonic that will see the newly formed publisher take over management of the studio’s back catalogue of multiplayer games. These include Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, Predator: Hunting Grounds, Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game, and Arcadegeddon.

Balor Games will oversee publishing for these older games, while IllFonic continues to develop updates and new content alongside its existing development team. This partnership allows IllFonic to shift more of its internal publishing resources toward upcoming releases, including Halloween: The Game.

Balor Games co-founder and CEO Alan Patmore said:

“IllFonic has a proven track record of building successful experiences based on well-known franchises that push the approach to multiplayer game design. We have great respect for the team’s creative vision and expertise and look forward to serving the community by playing each game.”

Illfonic CEO Charles Brungardt said

“Working with Balor Games allows us to keep growing and delivering high-quality multiplayer experiences to players around the world. With this partnership, we have more room to invest in our upcoming games and reach even more players, while staying true to the quality and experience our community expects.”

Balor Games launched earlier this year, founded by former Humble Games executives Alan Patmore and Mark Nash.
