Razer has announced the Soma Chroma, the company’s first RGB gaming chair, combining reactive Chroma RGB lighting with ergonomic features for what it’s calling a comfy ergo-chair with all the gaming RGB it’s known for.
The Soma Chroma integrates Razer Chroma RGB directly into the chair, allowing its lighting to react in real time across more than 300 supported games. And according to Razer, the ‘Soma Chroma’ is designed to become part of “a player’s battlestation” rather than simply another piece of furniture.
“The battlestation has become a form of self-expression. But the chair, the one piece you live in every session, has not kept up,” said Addie Tan, Global Head of Lifestyle Division at Razer.
“With Soma, the lighting reacts to what’s happening on screen in real time. That’s not decoration, that’s participation. Combine that with ergonomic support built for marathon sessions, and wireless freedom that keeps your setup clean, and you have a chair that is truly part of your battlestation.”
