AEW Games Announces Ex-WWE Developer Partnership & General Manager Mobile Game
<p class="">AEW Games announced three video game projects this morning in a special presention.</p>
This morning during a special event from AEW Games, Kenny Omega came out in his best Steve Jobs outfit to announced the first All Elite Wrestling video game. The event itself was very silly, but also very in-tone with AEW’s type of content.
Omega announced that they have a game in development with Yuke’s who were the prominent developer of the WWE video games from the early 2000’s up until WWE 2K19. Later in the event, it was revealed that Hideyuki Iwashita, the director of WWF: No Mercy for the Nintendo 64 is onboard with this project and returning to the world of wrestling video games.
The game is currently untitled but is coming to both PS4/PS5 and the Xbox family of consoles by the sounds of it.
The trailer itself saw Chris Jericho and Omega facing off before Hikaru Shida (the current Women’s Champion) enter the ring to land a running knee-strike on Kenny. The game promises to let fans dream matches like that one (Kenny VS Shida) become a reality.
Although the character models do have room for improvement, it is a work in progress. Check out the trailer for the untitled All Elite Wrestling game below.
Referee Audree Edwards (now more than a referee) entered the stage following Kenny’s trailer — also in her best Steve Jobs outfit — and announced AEW: Elite General Manager. In this mobile game, you get to be the ultimate mark and book AEW matches as you see fit.

The next person on-stage was The Role Model herself, Britt Baker who announced that she was in charge of “video game t-shirts.”

Just when I thought this AEW Game Special Event was going to be wrapping up, Cody Rhodes entered to announce a game that is releasing soon, AEW Casino – Double of Nothing.
It’s worth mentioning Cody says it’s a game that’s releasing now, but the trailer clearly states ‘Winter.’ So there may have been a delay since they filmed the presentation.
The game itself is a casino mobile game of some sort. No gameplay was shown at all, even after announcing it was releasing soon/now. Watch the live-action trailer below for some good John Silver moments though.
In total that’s three games coming out of AEW Games.
