Australian-made game The Drifter has received a July 18 release date. The game was developed by Powerhoof, who is based in Melbourne.

The game is a ‘pulp thriller,’ about a drifter who dies and then awakens several seconds before his death and goes on a mission to solve the mystery behind his own death. This is a point-and-click adventure with a distinctly Australian flair.

I went hands-on with the game at PAX Australia in 2023 and walked away thinking it was accessible and cinematic. You can read that article here.
