JustWatch has revealed the most streamed movies and TV shows for September 2023.
What did you watch last month? What was your most streamed TV series? Let me know in the comment section below.
Movies
1.) Barbie
One of the biggest movies of the year, Barbie, will probably be on this Top 10 list for a while.
2.) The Equalizer 2
As everyone got ready to watch the third and final Equalizer film in cinemas last month, they chose to re-watch the second film but, according to this list, skipped the first film.
3.) Talk To Me
I love Talk to Me, and I’m glad to see it doing so well. A must-watch horror film from 2023.
4.) No Hard Feelings
I’m yet to get around to watching No Hard Feelings myself, but by all accounts, it’s a decent Jennifer Lawrence-led rom-com and part of a resurgence of sorts for mature comedies that aren’t just remakes.
5.) The Super Mario Bros. Movie
As with Barbie, this animated film based upon one of the biggest video game franchises of all time will probably continue hanging around this Top 10 list for a while.
Here’s the complete top ten list of movies for September 2023.

TV Shows
1.) Special Ops: Lioness
A Paramount+ original series that’s not related to Yellowstone but is still created by Taylor Sheridan has made it to the top of the charts for September.
2.) Dear Child
The German mini-series based upon the book of the same name has taken Australia by storm, it seems, hitting second on the charts for September! I must add this to my own watch list.
3.) The Bear
The Bear has slipped down the charts just a tiny bit since August, but the series kitchen drama series continues to hold a Top 3 position.
4.) The Continental: From the World of John Wick
This new mini-series from Prime Video is a prequel to John Wick, and although it’s not at all like the films, it appears the name is enough to draw in viewers.
5.) The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart
An Australian series sitting in the Top 5 is also great to see, and as the series came to a close, it appears The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart held viewers’ attention right through to the end. Another must-watch Australian series from Prime Video this year.
