Overnight a Dead Island 2 showcase introduced some new bloody gameplay and a four-minute trailer starring characters Jacob and Amy.
The trailer is very gory, and you can tell that having a lot of blood and gory animations for the weapons has been a mechanic the team must get right. Check out the trailer below for a look at sunny Las Vegas during a zombie apocalypse in Dead Island 2.

There’s also the addition of Alexa Game Control, which doesn’t seem like it’ll be available in Australia as the only places listed in the press release we received said it’s launching “on Xbox and PC, in English in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.” Either way, this system allows players to use their voice to call zombies in their direction and other things. It looks cool and possibly handy when playing, not just a gimmick.
