Devolver Digital skipped their regular showcase — as regular as you can call their showcase — to instead focus on one upcoming game that will be released later in the year.

Keeping in tone, however, their Summer Game Fest showcase, even if it was only focused on one game, Ball x Pit, the shorter stream showcased it with the usual type of comedy seen in their ‘Devolver Digital Directs.’

Ball x Pit is a new game from developer Kenny Sun, who is portrayed in this reveal show from Devolver Digital. They are playing up the part of a solo dev who has others working on the game with them, but never wants to acknowledge it; they take all the praise.

Ball x Pit is a hybrid of a brick-breaking game and base-building elements. The game has you bouncing balls off enemies, building up your arsenal of balls as you play in a rogue-like fashion.
