Star Wars Squadrons

The big one for the show this year was the gameplay reveal for Star Wars Squadrons. They reiterated details we wrote about following the trailer earlier in the week: cross-play, full VR support, and the October 2nd release date—before diving into a gameplay trailer.

In the campaign, you’ll play both the New Republic as Vanguard Squadron and the Imperials as Titan Squadron. The trailer also featured Rae Sloane and Hera Syndulla, exciting fans of the extended Star Wars universe.

The multiplayer is a big focus, designed with several phases. There’s a hub area where you and your teammates can plan attacks. Dogfight mode is similar to deathmatch, while Fleet Battles are the marquee multiplayer mode—multi-phase matches with cinematic flair and narrative elements.
