Wholesome Direct has become a staple of Summer Game Fest every June, and it always offers up some more relaxing vibes to the louder games you might find in either the SGF main show or the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase. This year’s show was no different, featuring over fifty games, including many exclusive announcements of games that are now available to play.

Leaf Blower Co.
A demo is now available for this leaf-blowing game, which should appeal to fans of Powerwash Simulator.
Leaf Blower Co. is set to release sometime later in 2025.

This is a game all about scrapbooking and solving the puzzles the photos hold.

Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar

Decorate your island how you wish and spend time fishing in this new relaxing multiplayer island-fishing game.
Luma Island: Pirates
New content for Luma Island is nearly here, with the release of Luma Island: Pirates set for June 20.
Is This Seat Taken?
Move people around in buses, park seats and more in this puzzle game about getting people to their right comfortable seats.
Is This Seat Taken? will be released in August.

MakeRoom is set to release on August 7.
Ambroise Niflette & Gleaned Bell
With a stop-motion art style, this detective adventure looks very adorable. A Kickstarter for this project is now live.
Let’s Build a Dungeon – Buddyland
‘BuddyLand’ is a new mode that has been announced for the upcoming Let’s Build a Dungeon. It’s a co-op mode about building an MMORPG with others, and you don’t have to worry about any of the studio-handling stuff that’s in the campaign.
Squeakross – Home Squak Home
Solve puzzles and turn them into furniture for your rodent friends’ home in Squeakross: Home Squeak Home, which is out now on Steam.
Monument Valley 3
Here’s a new look at Monument Valley 3, along with the announcement of a demo that will be available live on Steam as part of Steam Next Fest.
Monument Valley 3 will be released on July 23.
The Guardian of Nature
The first episode of The Guardian of Nature, a puzzle-adventure game, is out now on Steam.
Big Hops

Little Kitty, Big City
New story content and areas to explore are coming in a free update to Little Kitty, Big Cit.
Vending Dokan: Kozy Kiosk
Build up a vending machine business in this cozy game, which allows you to play it in the background with relaxing tunes and vibes.
Vending Dokan: Kozy Kiosk is out now on Steam in Early Access, and there’s also a demo available to try out.
Winter Burrow
Gather resources with a cute little mouse in this survival game, where you’ll also be able to cook up pies and even knit little sweaters.
Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings Game
Play as your own Hobbit in this wholesome game set in the world of The Lord of the Rings, but spend your time enjoying the vibes and views of Hobbiton instead of worrying about Sauron.

This one was released a couple of weeks ago, so you can check out Linked: Banner of the Spark on Steam now; it’s an action RPG that you can play solo or co-op.
Omlet You Cook
Make omelettes from classic ingredients, as well as crazy ones like doughnuts and more.
Milano’s Odd Job Collection
Do all the odd jobs over the Summer in this game, where you’ll be playing as Milano. The game was initially released in Japan in 1997 but was never released in other countries. However, it’s now coming to PC and consoles.
Fireside Feelings
This is a game all about having chats around a campfire and getting your thoughts out.
It’s now available on Steam, with a big launch offer of 40% off.
All Will Rise
Pitched as a ‘narrative courtroom drama,’ you build a team and a deck and go to face-off in intense conversations.
Gecko Gods
Explore an ancient city as a gecko, solve puzzles and find secrets.
One Move Away
This is a first-person moving game in which you must pack everything into your car, but, of course, you’ve got to make it all fit somehow. And there’s a demo for One Move Away out now on Steam.
Heidi’s Legacy: Mountains Calling
Care for your goats and your homestead in this cozy farming game.
Hotel Galactic
This is a hotel management game with a bright and anime-inspired art style. You’ll need to work to make your hotel a success, as well as discover the secret of your grandpa’s past and help rectify his mistakes.
Out and About
A storm has torn your village apart, so you’ll be heading out to find things to forage and make herbal remedies, as well as things to cook to help rebuild.
A demo for Out and About is now available on Steam.
Discounty
In a game that could be too close to home for some in Australia, it’s one where you’re attempting to run a discount supermarket. A demo is now available on Steam.
Discounty will be released on August 21.
Islanders: New Shores
A new trailer for this relaxing game about building an island community.
Collector’s Cove
It’s a farming game, but you’re riding around on a real-life dinosaur creature. Or something that looks like a dinosaur, or maybe a Lapras?
Town to City
Beautiful little voxel art in Town to City looks to invite you into this town-builder.
Fishbowl
This is part of the ‘Wholesome Games Present’ label and was introduced first during last year’s showcase. The game continues to look very interesting, as it combines a deep narrative about overcoming grief with various gameplay elements, including puzzle box sorting and video calls with friends. There is now a demo available for Fishbowl on Steam for us all ot check out.
