The first-ever IOI Showcase was streamed live from Hollywood this morning, hosted by Britanni Johnson —
Kicking off the show was a celebration of the last 25 years of Hitman games, featuring a montage of the series’ games that highlighted its evolution over the years.
Hitman X Bond
Following on from the reveal at Summer Game Fest a couple of hours prior, during the IOI Showcase, we get to see the first-ever gameplay of this new Elusive Target crossover. Of course, there will be many ways for players to take out Le Chiffre, the Bond villain played by a returning Mads Mikkelsen, but in this version, it’s similar to Casino Royale. A poker game and a poisoning slipped to Agent 47.
You can play this mission right now, as it’s available in Hitman: World of Assassination.
Hitman: World of Assassination – Platforms
An update is coming to the PS VR2 version of the game.
Additionally, an iOS version of the game is scheduled to be released later this year.
Hitman: The Board Game
A Kickstarter is coming soon for a board game based on Hitman.
Stone & Knight
You’ll need to work with one other player in an upcoming co-op mode/mission coming to Hitman: World of Assassination.
007: First Light
The first trailer for 007: First Light was shown during Thursday morning’s State of Play, and the same trailer was shown here. The team announced that a full gameplay reveal will be released later this year.
Mindseye
Some new gameplay of Mindeyes, featuring developer commentary, showcased scenes from later in the narrative, including cinematic action.
Mindeyes is set to release in just a couple of days, on June 10.
