It’s a light month for AMC+ exclusives, but with some stuff coming to both Shudder and Acorn TV. Two original horror films are coming to Shudder in Dario Argento: Panicoand History of Evil, and over on Acorn TV, there’s plenty of mystery to solve in The Madame Blanc Mysteries and Dublin Murders.

  • Godless [New To Shudder] Lara is a woman tormented, torn between science and faith. Pushed by her husband to seek treatment from a congregation of zealots, a ruthless exorcist will try to save her soul by putting an innocent woman through hell.
  • Bad Girl Boogey [New To Shudder] Halloween blood is shed by the wearer of parasitic mask cursed with black magic and bigotry. After Angel’s friend is killed by a person wearing the mask, Angel must fight fear and find the killer before he slaughters everyone.

  • Megalomaniac [New To Shudder] Megalomaniac questions the invisible line between victim and executioner and how it is crossed. A film about the weight of patriarchy and the illusion of Manichaeism.
  • Deathstalker [New To Shudder] A lone warrior nicknamed Deathstalker is sent by a witch on a quest to find a sword, a chalice, and an amulet, two of which are held by the wicked king and sorcerer, Munkar.
  • Deathstalker II [New To Shudder] In this parody of the sword and sorcery films, a princess is a deposed by an evil sorcerer. She enlists the aid of Deathstalker to battle the forces of evil, including a clone of the princess, and win back her kingdom.

  • The Madame Blanc Mysteries – Series 3 [Acorn TV Original Seires] Sally Lindsay (Cold Call, Mount Pleasant) returns as renowned antiques dealer Jean White with her expertise in the world of antiquities proving to be the key to solving a series of murders and mysteries against the backdrop of the beautiful French village of Sainte Victoire.

  • History Of Evil [Shudder Original Film] In the near future, war and corruption have plagued America and turned it into a theocratic police state. Against the oppression, ordinary citizens have formed a group called The Resistance. One such member, Alegre Dyer, breaks out of political prison and reunites with her husband Ron and daughter Daria. On the run from the militia, the family takes shelter in a remote safe house. But their journey is far from over, as the house’s dark past begins to eat away at Ron, and his earnest desire to keep his family safe is overtaken by something much more sinister.

  • HIP: High Intellectual Potential – Series 2 [Acorn TV Exclusive Series] Starring Audrey Fleurot (SpiralThe Bonfire of Destiny) and Mehdi Nebbou (The BureauHomeland), the new season of this original police procedural sees the eternally mismatched duo set out to solve a new case and capture a different clever criminal in every episode. From a 1970s murder, where the only witness now has Alzheimer’s disease, and a farmyard theft that went wrong to a judge found dead in her chambers and the missing body of a cosmetics entrepreneur, Morgane and Karadec will each need to deploy their unique skills and work closely together to bring the murderers to justice.

  • Dublin Murders [New To Acorn TV & AMC+] Detectives Rob Reilly and Cassie Maddox find themselves dispatched to investigate the murder of a young girl on the outskirts of Dublin, Ireland. Based on the books In the Woods and The Likeness by American-Irish writer Tana French, this psychological thriller stars Killian Scott (Damnation) and Sarah Greene (Bad Sisters). The two detectives put their friendship to the test as they are pulled deeper into the intrigue and darkness that surrounds the case.
