Hideo Kojima will appear at the Sydney Film Festival alongside Australian cinema icon George Miller in a special ‘in conversation’ event, in the lead-up to the release of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach.
On stage together will be the award-winning and prolific video game creator, Hideo Kojima, who is releasing his new project, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, on June 26th. Joining him will be the Oscar-winning director of Mad Max: Fury Road, George Miller. “The two will discuss shared creative ground, the evolution of cinematic storytelling in gaming,” and they’ll also talk about how Miller is in the game as a key character, Tarman. Or at least his body is, as his character is voiced by another Australian pop singer, Marty Rhone.
You can book tickets for the event now, which will take place on Saturday, June 14th, at the Sydney Town Hall. Premium tickets are $55, while A Reserve tickets are $50. As of this writing, both are still available for purchase, but I’d expect the event to sell out quickly.
