Disney+ has announced that it would be the home of the recently launched series, How I Met Your Father, in Australia, where it will air under the ‘Star’ banner of the streaming platform.
Although the series premiered in the U.S on January 18th, it won’t make its way to Australia until March. When the series premieres here, there will only be one episode left in the first season run to air in the U.S.
Nonetheless, the first two episodes will launch on March 9th on Disney+ under the Star banner.
The series stars Hilary Duff as Sophie, who sometime in the future is telling her son how she met his father. If this sounds familiar, it’s because this series is inspired by How I Met Your Mother and has several producers from that show onboard.
How I Met Your Father also stars Christopher Lowell, Francia Raisa, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran, Suraj Sharma, and recurring stars Kim Cattrall, Daniel Augustin, Ashley Reyes and Josh Peck.
