As a small-time creator, I have come across various types of phone mounts in the market, including clamps, tripods, and others. The overhead adjustable stand from JSAUX stands out as one of the better options. Having reviewed multiple stands from JSAUX, I’ve found that this model incorporates the suggestions I’ve made in the past. While the other stands are still useful, I have been particularly impressed by the movement and adjustability of this stand.

My current setup has it installed as an overhead holder to allow me to film modification videos using my iPhone. I have found it fantastic to get the phone into the correct position to see what I am doing with the devices while also keeping it out of the way. The ability to offset, twist and manipulate the stand to my needs is extremely useful. The device holder has a substantial reach of approximately sixty-one centimetres combined with the multiple points of articulation. These merges make for a multijointed stand that can be utilised in many ways. I utilised it on a variety of surfaces such as desks, coffee tables, sideboards and more. If the surface has a decent lip the mount could be utilised, with the five-centimetre gap the possibilities are vast.

I did find the holder very useful, regrettably, it does also have a little bit of play in the arm when holding the phone so slight bumps and knocks will show in the footage when recording. I was unable to mitigate this even by tightening the screws on the articulation points. The holder also doesn’t work on curved edges, which was disappointing but not limiting to particular circumstances.

I have also found the holder to be useful in many other applications of my daily life. Handsfree video calling, having maps or information pulled up when on the computer, PlayStation, or other devices. I have also used it to watch videos when I want to relax and not have to hold the phone. It would be a good travel companion if the size was able to be scaled down slightly further.
