The JSAUX Carrying case for handhelds is a great piece of gear for gamers on the go. Whether it’s the Steam Deck or many other devices coming into the market, we all want to keep them safe and protected. This carrying case does that and includes enough room to carry many of the associated accessories.
In mine, I was carrying a small battery pack, an 8bitDo controller, a charger, cables, and my Steam Deck or the Nintendo Switch. I had the Nyxi controllers attached to my Switch, making it larger than in its normal configuration with the joy cons. With all this gear inside, the lid still closed, and the zips slipped into place with ease. The handle makes for easy carrying and is strong enough that I was never afraid of my items being dropped. I often attached it to my work bag using the handle and my bag clips. The case is made from a strong EVA material, which is quite durable and keeps the internal items safe. It even has a strong velcro to strap down your device to ensure it doesn’t spill out when opening. The strap has multiple uses on the surface. It’s a cover to protect the screen, and it has a series of mesh pockets, which are perfect for SD cards or Switch games. I have also used it for my USB-C memory stick or USB-C to A adaptors. On top of all that, it can be set up to be used as a stand for the devices. Which is great when using external controllers.

This extra storage has become a full-time member of my travel accessories, especially when taking my bag camping. The added protection makes me feel safer when my bag is tossed and banged in the tray. The stand style with the strap also makes it easier when playing at a table, setting up, and packing down quickly, and it ensures it can be charged and run without covering the vents. It also means all my accessories are close at hand when playing solo or with a friend. The added micro SD card holder also holds 10 micro SDs, which means that switching cards in and out to expand the library is a breeze.
In the months since I got the case, I have physically put it through its paces. Being bumped and knocked while attached to my bag, and even a couple of drops. I have not seen any scratches or evidence on my devices or the case itself. It seemly taking the knocks in stride. If you are looking for bigger storage space for your device and equipment, this might be the bag for you. This sturdy and handy little bag is a nice place to store your handheld and a better place to have it travel with you. The case can fit the deck with the mod case and the front cover, but it limits the additional items you can carry.
The stand function is very helpful, as is the storage for SD cards and other accessories, but this is missing one and its support for the Lenovo Go users; I hope they produce something that supports that device in the future.
