Mike Flanagan is coming back for another Stephen King adaptation, this time for the 1980’s novella, The Mist.
Deadline reports that Warner Bros. Pictures, Falangan, and King are reuniting for another adaptation, this time of a film that already received an adaptation in 2008, directed by Frank Darabont. The Mist was well-liked by general audiences but sits at 58% on Metacritic. There was also a TV series that lasted one season in 2017.
The story follows a group of survivors who hold out in a supermarket in Maine when a thick fog, filled with creatures, takes over the town.
