A new Vampire Survivors DLC is on the way; it was just when you thought they might be done with the game.
Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania has been revealed with a new trailer. It will be released on October 31 on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, PC, and mobile devices—right around the corner! And it will only cost $3.99 USD.
In this DLC, there will be 20+ new playable characters, over 40 new weapons, new music tracks, and maybe even a vampire for the first time. Only time will tell on that last one!
If you couldn’t guess by the title, this is a DLC that is a literal ode to the Castlevania series of video games, which the game is heavily inspired by.
It’s no secret that Vampire Survivors is very much inspired by The Belmonts never ending quest to stop Dracula, but we’ve gone no holds barred on this DLC. It’s absolutely huge (the biggest DLC we’ve ever created), it features the characters and weapons that many lineages of fans have come to love, it features some real deep cuts we hope you all appreciate, some absolutely banging OST from various composers, and a bunch of secrets we can’t wait for you to discover. It’s been an honor to work with KONAMI again on such a prestigious IP.
