Ubisoft showed off several games during their first-ever Ubisoft Forward early Monday morning. This included a look at Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gameplay and the official reveal of Far Cry 6.
It’s important to remember that Ubisoft is currently in the midst of a massive amount of abuse allegations with several top executives recently having left the company because of these allegations. I suggest you read up more on what’s happening.
Here’s what was announced during Ubisoft Forward.
WATCH DOGS: LEGION
The Watch Dogs: Legion coverage began with a short film titled ‘Tipping Point’. It was directed by Alberto Mielgo who won multiple Emmy Awards for his episode, ‘The Witness’, of the anthology series, Love, Death & Robots.
It’s got a similar style of animation to that of The Witness episode but the whole short is built around a reworked version of the ‘First They Came…’ poem which is tone-deaf at the best of times, but an even worse way to kick off your show when your company is already under investigation.

The short film was followed up with some gameplay. It once again explains how you’ll recruit and be able to pick different characters and thus, different ways to tackle missions depending on their skill sets. The gameplay also explains two of the villains of the game, a cop who definitely is not a cop and a white lady keeping slaves who definitely isn’t racist.
Watch Dogs: Legion is releasing on October 29th for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Next-gen versions is “coming soon.”

ASSASSIN’S CREED VALHALLA
We finally got a good look at Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gameplay. This included a much more brutal combat system with “more enemies than any other Assassin’s Creed game.”
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is releasing on November 17th for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The next-gen release is to come sometime soon after and you’ll be able to upgrade for free from PS4 and Xbox One to the PS5 or Xbox Series X copy.
FAR CRY 6
Far Cry 6 was officially revealed after leaking several days ago in true E3 fashion. There was no gameplay shown, just a cinematic trailer featuring Giancarlo Esposito as Anton Castillo, dictator of the fictional country of Yara.
Far Cry 6 is coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC, Stadia, PS5 and Xbox Series X on February 18th, 2021.
As the show wrapped up it was announced that another Ubisoft Forward event would be coming later in the year.
