Nintendo has shared the price for Nintendo Switch 2 Upgrade Packs in Australia.
‘Upgrade Packs’ will let you step up from the Nintendo Switch version of games into the Nintendo Switch 2 versions of the games. This will enable the addition of features such as extra content, as seen in games like Super Mario Party Jamboree, or simply visual and performance enhancements, as found in games like The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
The price of games will be broken down into different areas, depending on what’s included in those upgrades. Games like Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Super Mario Party Jamboree will receive expansions and new content, while games like Breath of the Wild, ARMS, and Pokémon Scarlet/Violet will be offered at a reduced price with visual and performance upgrades.
