Nioh 2 has received an official release date of March 13th 2020 for PS4 today alongside the news there will be an open beta trial next week.
Those looking to find out what Nioh is all about will be able to download the first game on PS Plus from November 5th on PS4, while players looking to find out what the sequel is all about can jump into the open beta from November 1st to 10th.

The open beta trial will let players try out new stuff not available before including the new character customization and a new weapon called the ‘Switchglaive.’ If you make it to the end of the open beta trial you’ll earn the ‘Mark of the Demon Slayer’ which will unlock the ‘Kamaitachi Helmet’ inside the full game.
Special editions details for Nioh 2 were also made available today.
All digital pre-orders will get the Demon Horde armour set, Sudama Netsuke charm, PS4 theme and a PSN avatar. Pre-ordering the Digital Deluxe Edition will get you all of that plus the games’ season pass, Demon Horde weapons and Kodama Netsuke charm.
The physical Special Edition is coming, but as of writing isn’t available for preorder in Australia, but it includes a SteelBook case, art book and the games season pass.
