You’ve probably seen or at least heard about the amount of visual oddities and bugs in the latest Pokemon games, Violet and Scarlet, but it has yet to affect the performance of the sales of the game one bit.

Nintendo has revealed that Pokemon Scarlet & Pokemon Violet has sold 10m units in its first three days. This makes it the best-selling game from Nintendo within three days.

It’s going to open some interesting discussion points — which you can feel free to build upon in our comment section — but if Nintendo and Gamefreaki can sell so many copies of a game that’s getting rousing complaints of technical issues, does it really matter? Will it matter to them?

I’m only a few hours into my Pokemon Scarlet journey and enjoy the game a lot, but it’s hard to ignore the technical issues. With that said, they don’t ruin the game for me.

To put this into some perspective for those who don’t understand how popular Pokemon is and continues to be — God of War Ragnarok sold 5.1m copies in its first week and is a massive success at Sony, being their fast-selling first-party game.
