Samsung has announced one of the most hardcore gaming monitors I’ve ever seen this morning. The Odyssey Ark is the world’s first 55″ 1000R curved gaming monitor, and it’s sure to be the trophy of your set-up if you purchase one.
The Samsung Odyssey Ark is a 165HZ, 1ms, 4K monitor with a quantum mini-LED display. You can also rotate it to be put into “cockpit mode.” The sounds not half-bad either, featuring a 2.2.2 sound system that supports Dolby Atmos.
I know I’m talking about a monitor, but Samsung has included a lot of their TV features here, including a remote that charges via solar power and a One Connect box. This thing is massive too. At 55″, you’d think it was a TV.
Thankfully you can use this massive display to replace several monitors on your desk as Flex Move Screen allows you to display up to four different sources while the screen is horizontal or up to three when it’s vertical in cockpit mode.
