Developer Mimimi Games has revealed that their next game, and first self-published game, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, will release on August 17th.

In the vein of the developers’ other popular stealth-strategy games, Shadow Tactics and Desperados III, their next game, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, will once again feature strategic stealth at the heart of the gameplay, but this time on the 7-seas. 

Players will join the Red Marley, a ghost ship, and assemble their own cursed pirate ship and crew. Fight back against the army of the Inquisition using ghostly powers, and track down the treasure of the legendary Captain Mordechai.

A demo for Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew will be available to play during Steam Next Fest from June 19 to 26. It’ll give players access to around 2-4 hours of the game, which includes the game’s intro, and a handful of missions across two islands. You can also explore the Red Marley, which acts as the HUB between missions.

Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew will release on August 17 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
