The Hunt For Returnal’s Platinum Is About To Become A Lot Easier

The hunt for the Platinum trophy in Returnal is about to become somewhat easier than an upcoming patch that addresses several trophy-related complaints.

Alongside addressing reports of glitched trophies for beating chapters, the upcoming patch will address the now-infamous Scout Log 9 and its super-low spawn rate, among other trophies/collectable related problems.

In our trophy guide, I noted that the biggest difficulty of the Returnal Platinum, other than beating the game, was hunting down the collectables. Scout Log 9 took me hours, upon hours of searching to earn. So I’m happy to see others won’t have to go through such an unnecessarily painful hunt that can wear you out and ruin the experience of playing Returnal.

Platinum: Added support for replaying certain Act 1 & Act 2 Trophies

Platinum: Added support to retroactively award Trophies which cannot be replayed

Platinum: Added additional locations for Scout Logs 9, 34, 35 & 46 to appear more often

Platinum: Fixed an issue where 1 Cipher was sometimes unobtainable for Biome Survey Trophies

Platinum: Fixed an issue where some Activity Cards displayed an incorrect count
