The next-gen version of The Witcher 3 has been un-delayed, which is weird, but it is apparently what’s happening.
After having been delayed in April with no new release date insight with an ominous message at the time making it sound like it wouldn’t be released until at least 2023, CD Projekt Red has announced overnight that the game is back. In fact, it’s going to be released this year.
Tweeting out the news, CDPR said, “we’re delighted to share that the Next Gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is planned to release in Q4 2022.”
Let's make this 7th anniversary even better, shall we?

It’s a kinda odd announcement to say it’s coming in Q4 as that’s any month towards the end of the year. Given they’d already announced the game was delayed until further notice, I feel CDPR could have held off announcing it was releasing this year until they had a solid month in mind.
Nonetheless, look forward to playing the upgraded version of The Witcher 3 with all DLC included on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in Q4, 2022.
