The first teaser trailer for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire teases a new ice age coming for New York City.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife was released in 2021 to mostly positive reviews. The legacy sequel acted as both a continuation of the franchise while introducing a bunch of new, younger characters for new fans of the series to fall in love with and get into the ghostbustin’ action. It’s only been a couple of years, but a sequel to that film is already around the corner. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire will continue the series by having new characters, Trevor, Phoebe and Mr. Grooberson, team up with the original Ghostbusters crew to take on a new threat attacking New York City.

Synopsis: In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.
