PlayStation held a State of Play focused on games from Japan and across Asia.
Check out all the trailers and news from the State of Play below. Please note that the release dates were warned ahead of the show to all be for Japan, so there’s a level of TBC for Australia, but I’ll list any mentioned anyway.
Dragon Quest VII Reimagined
A new trailer shows adult Kiefer in the game.
Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is releasing on February 5, 2026.
inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories
This is a cosy game set inside a convenience store where you stack shelves, talk to customers and collect capsule machine toys.
Coffee Talk Tokyo
The next Coffe Talk game is heading to Tokyo and will be released on March 5, 2026.
BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW
A new trailer for BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW showcased this horror game, which is themed around social media.
BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW is set to release on January 16, 2026.
BrokenLore: Ascend
The next BrokenLore game is about two characters climbing Tokyo Tower and finding a ghost at the top.
BrokenLore: Ascend is set to release in Summer 2026.
Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake
A new trailer for Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake has shared its release date of March 12, 2026.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins – Visions of Four Heroes DLC
This DLC will be released on January 22, 2026.
Gran Turismo 7 – Power Pack DLC
Adds 24-hour racing and hardcore tracks. Will release alongside the free Spec III update on December 4, 2025.
MotionRec
This is a puzzle game where you record your movements and then play them back.
Wandering Sword
Now coming to PlayStation, this release of Wandering Sword will bring everything, including all the DLC.
Wandering Sword will release on May 28, 2026.
No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files
This game from Spike Chunsoft has been released on other platforms, but is now making its way to PlayStation 5 on February 26, 2026.
Tokyo Xtreme Racer
This racer, focused on a locked-down Tokyo, is set to release on February 26, 2026.
Once Upon a Katamari – DLC
Two DLC packs are coming and will bring new music and accessories to the game.
Pac-Man World 2: Re-Pac – Sonic the Hedgehog Crossover
This collaboration is out today, where Pac-Man and Sonic team up to take down Dr Eggman.
Digimon Story Time Stranger – Episode Pack 1: Alternate Dimension
The first DLC for the latest Digimon Story game will be released very soon.
Super Robot Wars Y – DLC
Super Robot Wars Y is getting its first DLC on November 21, 2025.
Monster Hunter Wild – Update 4
A big monster to hunt in the form of the Giant Halberd Dragon Gogmazios will be added to Monster Hunter Wild when the fourth free game update is released on December 16, 2025.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds – SpongeBob SquarePants Pack
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds continues to live up to its name with SpongeBob Squarepants being added to the game on November 20, 2025.
Never Grave: The Witch and the Curse
This 2D roguelike looks very interesting, with a witch using her magical hat to cast all sorts of spells and abilities. Also, you have the ability to embody the monsters you come across, and it seems that using this power will be integral to defeating some of the game’s boss fights.
Never Grave: The Witch and the Curse is set to release on March 5, 2025.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect X
I’ve missed other games in the BlazBlue series that aren’t just fighting games, but this is a roguelike with characters from the BlazBlue series.
Damon and Baby
This looked like a fun time, with slick twin-stick shooting, interesting-looking monsters, and a bright art style.
Kyouran Makaism
A new trailer for Kyouran Makaism showcased the game that may or may not be set in the Disgaea universe.
Fate Trigger
A new trailer for this anime battle royale shooter is coming in 2026.
Octopath Traveller 0
A new trailer reveals several of the characters that’ll be in the game, and a demo is out now, which lets you play the first three hours of the game and carry the save file over to the full game.
Octopath Traveller 0 is set to release on December 4, 2025.
Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls
A new trailer for the game for the upcoming closed beta, which is coming at the start of December, adds Ghost Rider and Spider-Man as playable characters, and there’s a new X-Mansion map.
The closed beta for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls will run from December 5 to December 7.
Elden Ring Nightreign – The Forsaken Hollows
This trailer for the Elden Ring Nightreign DLC showed some new monsters and locations. It’s set to release on December 4, 2025.
Gaming Monitor
The final announcement was a 27″ gaming monitor, which has a built-in DualSense Charging hook. However, at the moment, this monitor is set to release only in Japan and the US.
