The team at Techland have revealed that Dying Light: The Beast will launch on August 22 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Returning protagonist from Dying Light, Kyle Crane, will break free of his imprisonment, where he has been experimented on for the last ten years. The world still has plenty of zombies, but the experimentation has now left Kyle with powers that enable him to fight back in a way he couldn’t have in the original game.

You’ll be able to see Kyle Crane’s half-human, half-zombie DNA on show in the trailer below, where he stops a massive hammer with his hands, and is able to throw zombies around with ease.
