If you’re following the continuing adventures of Blue Box Games Studios and the lead up to the release of their trailer app for Abandoned, good news, it’s coming soon.

The developer has confirmed via Twitter that the Abandoned Trailers App will be available to pre-load on PS5 on July 29th, introducing August 10th. A full trailer will then follow later in August. 

What precisely this means, I’m not sure. We’ve never really had a great grasp on what this trailer app will include. 

In response to someone asking on Twitter why they don’t just upload the trailer, they said they would be, but that “the idea behind the real-time app is to demonstrate the 4k60 resolution along with high-end graphics, 3D audio and the DualSense features.”

Another Twitter user enquired about a playable teaser like with PT, to which the developer stated that “something even better [will release] in due time.”
