A new game from NetEase and 24 Entertainment, a very cinematic trailer for a historical Chinese game, named Blood Message.
Stranger Than Heaven
To be one of the more talked about moments from this year’s show, I’m sure, they’re using Tupac Shakur’s likeness to add the late-great-rapper into Stranger Than Heaven.
Stranger Than Heaven also has a release date: January 15, 2027.

A procedurally generated game that looks to feature taking on some creatures, solving puzzles, and raising giant monoliths from Dead Astronauts was announced.

A banger of a soundtrack pairs with the latest trailer for Control: Resonant, which showcases the world, art design, and the vibes that are Remedy.
Control: Resonant is releasing on September 24, 2026.

‘Man of Honour’ is a new DLC coming to Mafia: The Old Country, and it’s releasing on August 14. It features a young Don Salieri from the first Mafia game.
1666 Amsterdam
This is a new game from Patrice Desilets, who recently worked on Humankind. It’s a witch game, where it looks like you’re fighting and taking on creatures and things, but also hiding your witchy secret as well. There’s a Prologue out now on PC already to play.
SAW: Genesis
The puppet Billy from the Saw series rolls out onto the stage to announce Saw: Genesis. It’s a 3v1 multiplayer game, for which you can now sign up for the beta.

Star Wars: Zero Company will release on August 27.
The Blood of Dawnwalker
A brand new trailer for The Blood of Dawnwalker continues to show this massive new adventure from Rebel Wolves, which apparently features some ‘present day’ stuff, alongside what we’ve been seeing previously set in 1349.
The Blood of the Dawnwalker is set to release on September 3.
Among Us: Story on Guard
A new Among Us Game, a standalone one, with a new art style and looks to be a story-focused direction, is coming.

A big trailer for the announcement of Asendance, a “major expansion” coming to Monster Hunter Wilds in 2027.
Swords of Legends
We got a gameplay trailer for Swords of Legends that featured a boss fight; it looks like a real souls-inspired action game. Yes, it’s another one.
Hot Wheels Infinite Rush
A new Hot Wheels game was announced, and it looks like it’s an open-world one, with both ridiculous tracks inspired by the toys’ plastic ones and driving around a city that even has a monkey throwing debris.
Hot Wheels Infinite Rush is releasing on September 24.

A new crossover, Sonic CrossWorlds, was announced between Godzilla and Evangelion.

Sea of Remnants
Here’s a musical-focused trailer for another NetEase game, this one, Sea of Remnants.
Capcom Collectables
This was an advert for buying Capcom Collectables, which is basically an ad in a show of ads, but I liked this one. “Howdy-dookin.” Good.
Hitman
The latest celeb-target in Hitman is Wiz Khalifa.
PalWorld
A new trailer for the Pokémon-inspired PalWorld is entering its full 1.0 release on July 10. Also, shoutouts to the very timid “woo” this one got.
The Wolf Among Us 2
Sheep-skin Telltale is giving us a new trailer for The Wolf Among Us 2. Bigby is back on a new case, and “he’s a raging dumpster fire of a person.”
The Wolf Among Us 2 now has a 2027 release window.
The Wolf Among Us: Remastered
The original The Wolf Among Us is being re-released as The Wolf Among Us Remastered, and it’s releasing this holiday season.
Stellar Blade: Blood Rain
The reveal trailer for Stellar Blade: Blood Rain shows this next chapter, which introduces a new protagonist in ‘Evie,’ and this one is set in a big city, but with lots of monstrous creatures appearing in the city for Evie to take on; it also appears she works for some Police deparment.
For a game that’s “early in development,” this all looked very preety.
Street Fighter 6
For its Year 4 content, there’s a team-up with Square Enix to bring a Final Fantasy cross-over– to the game, featuring the character who makes the most sense: Tifa from Final Fantasy 7.
Year 4 is also bringing new challengers, Yasmine, Arjun and Bosch.
Final Fantasy VII: Revelation
The reveal trailer for Final Fantasy VII: Revelation ended Summer Game Fest for 2026. This is the final chapter in the FF7 remake project. The trailer focuses on Cloud and co. hunting and battling the Weapons.
Unlike the previous two games in this series, this entry will release across all platforms at the same time.
Matt Mercer then took the stage with Hamaguchi-san to show another trailer, talking over more gameplay. It seems you’ll have some more choice in the direction and order of the game’s objectives in this one. You’ll also be able to jump out of the airship and take to the open world below, and then hop onto Chocobo’s, of course, to take around the world below.
Another different trailer from Mercer, focusing on the gameplay of Vincent Valentine, the character he voices in the game. We also see how Cid is joining the fight now in Final Fantasy VII: Revelation. We also learn about the ‘FIT’ system here, a new armour set you can switch across all characters.
After a bit of chatter, we jumped back into more of Final Fantasy VII: Revelation, showing a battle against one of the massive Weapons, with Shinra failing to take it on.
We finally have a rough release date: Final Fantasy VII: Revelation will release in Autumn 2027.
