Today Disney+ confirmed that History of the World, Part II will be releasing on their service on Monday the 6th of March. This 8-part series is a sequel to Mel Brooks’ 1981 comedy History of the World, Part I with the legendary director returning to write, produce and star in it.

Much like the original film, History of the World, Part II will be made up of a variety of sketches spanning the history of mankind. Wanda Sykes, Ike Barinholtz, and Nick Kroll join Brooks in producing, starring and writing the series. With those names attached, they’ve managed to assemble an impressive cast filled with serious comedic ability.
