The JoyVerse Dual Grip for Joy-Cons is a great accessory to have. It comes in two forms: this one with the grips and a cheaper one without. The grips are easy to apply to the Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Cons and add a better grip for larger hands. In addition to the improved grip, it also allows the Joy-Cons to charge while playing the Switch. This feature is great as I often forget to reattach my Controllers to the central unit and like to play on the big screen.

The JoyVerse grip comes in a neat box that houses the grips, Joy-Con Covers, and a 1.5-meter USB-A to USB-C cable. The covers attach with little effort and remove just the same. They are comfortable in the hand. I tried both these and the protective case variants, and I found these to be more suitable for comfort due to their form.

You are also not limited to charging from the console. I have used these with a battery pack and a separate USB charging dock with no issues while playing. With built-in features such as overcharge and overcurrent protection, the Joy-Cons will remain safe.

Overall, the grips have been handy to throw in my bag with the console, as they don’t take up much space and allow me to take advantage of the Switch’s stand, providing a more comfortable way to play. It is also lightweight and portable enough to warrant the small additional space required in the bag.
