The Pokémon Company has shared more information on the upcoming Pokémon Champions game, which is set to be a favourite for those who like the Pokémon Stadium and Colosseum series of games.
Trainers will be able to battle in single and doubles as in the game, and you’ll be able to build your team in a couple of different ways. You’ll be able to earn Pokémon in the game itself. Still, you’ll also be able to bring Pokémon into Pokémon Champions through Pokémon Home, which will enable Trainers to battle with some of their favourite partners from previous adventures in other Pokémon games.
To train your Pokémon into their peak performance, you’ll be able to use VP (Victory Points) to alter your Pokémon’s stats and build them into the perfect version of themselves for your team.
Depending on how you want to play Pokémon Champions, you can dive into either Casual Battles, Private Battles or take on the actual test in Ranked Battles, where you’ll be paired up with other players based on your skill level.
Pokémon Champions is set to release in 2026 for both Nintendo Switch and iOS and Android devices. Let me know if you’re excited to get into the world of battling in Pokémon Champions in the comments section below.
