This morning, Marvel Studios released the first trailer for Echo, and it’s surprisingly a very good and violent trailer.

Maya Lopez, aka Echo, first made her appearance in Hawkeye. She was portrayed by Alaqua Cox, who is returning to play her here in this series. Echo is a deaf Native American woman who has a similar ability to Taskmaster, who was seen in the Black Widow movie, as she can watch and then copy opponents’ attacks, and this gives her photographic reflexes.

Check out the first trailer for Echo below, which features a lot of Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk, as well as a brief appearance of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil/Matt Murdock.

Echo is ditching the typical week-by-week release on Disney+ and instead will release all at once on January 10, 2024.
