The upcoming PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S version of The Witcher 3 has been delayed. CD Projekt Red has revealed that the game is postponed with no new release date insight as they move the production of the next-gen version of the 2015 in-house.
We have decided to have our in-house development team conduct the remaining work on the next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. We are currently evaluating the scope of work to be done and thus have to postpone Q2 release until further notice. 1/2

Saber Interactive’s studio is located in St. Petersburg, Russia, and was handling the development of the PS5 and XBSX|S port. That same team previously did the port for the Nintendo Switch.
There’s no direct word on if the decision to pull the development from Saber Interactive is connected to Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine. CD Projekt Red has previously spoken out about the war and is in support of Ukraine.
The recent invasion on Ukraine, our friends and neighbours, left us shocked and outraged.
In solidarity with all victims of this act of aggression, the CD PROJEKT Group has decided to support humanitarian aid efforts by donating 1 million PLN to the @PAH_org (1/2)

Considering CD Projekt Red has had their hands full with fixing Cyberpunk 2077, and still plans to work on updates for that game, and recently announced they’re working on a brand new Witcher game, I wouldn’t expect to see The Witcher 3’s next-gen port until at least next year. It was initially slated to release in 2021 before being delayed into 2022.
