One of the big success stories of the year has been Multiversus. Since being released in Open Beta in July, the game has attracted more than 20 million players with its focus on 2v2 combat differentiating itself from other games in the genre. Meanwhile developers Player First Games have provided players with new characters, events and maps in the game’s first season. Multiversus is now moving into season 2 and there is plenty to be excited for.
The next character to be introduced into the game is Marvin the Martian. A staple of the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons, Marvin comes from the planet Mars and is equipped with an Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator explosive device, a powerful blaster and spaceship-summoning abilities. There are plenty of possibilities for how he could be implemented in the game, hopefully with his dog “K-9”. While he is often foiled by Bugs Bunny, his other main adversary is Duck Dodgers, a character played by Daffy Duck, either of whom would also be exciting additions to Multiversus.
